I just HATE being sick. My throat has been hurting me for a couple of days now and now that I thought everything will finally be ok, I realize it's even worse. I woke up today and realize I can't speak. I have no voice at all. The only thing I can get out of my mouth is agharhterdahdsta - something that doesn't make any sense at all. I do not like this at all. So I've been just whispering today. I really hope it will be better tomorrow. I've been drinking tea all day long today so it should help at least a little bit, right?!?

I bought this cute ice-cream for Easter yesterday. It's in a shape of bunny and it's just so adorable! And also delicious. ;) I'm not a big fan of ice-cream in general, but this one is mmmmm-mmm. Look at the bunny, isn't it just "awww"?

Other than that, I started writing tutorials for making jewelry. My boyfriend challenged me - he told me I should write a book about jewelry making. There's not such book in my language yet and not everybody here understands/speaks English, so it's actually a very good idea. I don't know if what I'm writing now will actually turn into a book, but who knows. As I said, I think it's a really good idea. What can I say, I have a very smart (and incredibly sweet) boyfriend. <3

I'm back :)

It's been a while since I posted anything here again. I was planning to do this sooner, but just didn't get around to actually do it. I kept postponing it and we all know how time flies by. I was also away for a couple of days - I went to the spa with my grandmas and my mum. We had a nice time, but I have to admit it was a bit tiring. I was quite happy when the weekend was over and I got back home to my sweetie. :)

Here are some of the things that I made in the last weeks. I'm really into white and since summer is coming, I wanted to make something that I can wear with my summer dresses and tops. (Click on the pictures for larger view)

This necklace was inspired by a necklace I saw on this site. I absolutely love the layered look and I think it is perfect for any occasion - with jeans with a nice white top or with a dress.

Of course I just "had to" make a matching bracelet and a matching ring too - I like to have the full set of something. :)

And as for the earring goes, I think those white chandelier earrings I made in January will go perfect with this set.

Not so long ago I also finished these earrings. They are pretty easy to make and I think they have this "elegant look".

What to read?!

I just finished reading Twenties girl by Sophie Kinsella today. I enjoyed this book a lot. Not that I doubted I would anyway. I mean, I've read ALL her books and absolutely LOVED every single one of them. And it all started with the movie - Confessions of a Shopaholic. If you like girly things and romantic comedies and haven't seen this movie yet, you should. I've seen it quite a few times already and every time I watch it, it makes me laugh. Anyways... As I said, it all started with this movie. When I found out that the movie based on S. Kinsella's book my destination was a bookstore where I bought all Shopaholic books (except the first one because it has been sold everywhere :( ) and I couldn't stop laughing when I was reading them. They always put me in a good mood. :D When I ran out (meaning: read all) of Shopaholic books I stocked myself with other books written by Sophie Kinsella (Remember me?, Can you keep a secret? etc.). And they were all fan-ta-stic!!! Twenties girl was the last one I had, and as I said, I just finished it today. *sigh* So now I'm wondering what to read next... I know Sophie Kinsella also wrote some books under her real name (Madeleine Wickham), and I *might* read some of those - I've only read Cocktails for three from M. Wickham. It was ok, but to be honest, I prefer those books she wrote under the pseudonym; those are funnier. If you want to know more about S. Kinsella's books, go to her site ~ click here. On this site you will also find competitions (but read the terms first because it's *possible* that they are just for UK residents) and other fun things.

So, if you have any book suggestions for me, I'm all ears. ;)

Time for another post

I can barely recognize my table - it's almost empty, no pieces of paper anywhere, no beads etc. Looks unfamiliar, even a bit boring I might say. It took me the whole morning (literally) yesterday to clean all that mess, but I wonder how long will this tidiness last. Knowing me, not very long. Especially since I've been thinking about another jewelry project already. Plus, as you know, Easter is coming and I could do some Easter cards too... ;)

Anyways, here are some things that I made in the last couple of days...

I've had these moon pendants for a while, but never really knew what to do with them - earrings or bracelet. Finally I decided to make earrings out of them. They are pretty big, but I like big earrings, so that's fine with me. :)

This bracelet was made for a very nice lady. She likes brown-blue combination and she likes handmade things, so I made this bracelet for her. :)

Happy Women's Day

It's here again, March 8, International Women's Day. I wish all the women all the best on this day! I hope you all get spoiled on this special day. :) My sweetie surprised me with the best gift (that can be bought) - CHOCOLATE (I know some women prefer flowers, but I'm not a very flowery person myself, but I am a chocoholic :P)!!! :D And not just any chocolate, oh no, no, no. He bought me THE chocolate. Milka, which is my favourite. Yum, yum. And that's not all ... I got extra spoiled. I got a pack of Kinder (which shares the first place with Milka on my "the-best-chocolates" list). He he. I'm definitely going to have a very sweet day today. Mmmm, me likes! :D Here's the picture of what I'll be spoiling myself with this afternoon.

Home-made boots

I'm a member at one forum and one person posted a link to a site where it's shown how to make boots out of old sweater. They look awesome and I am seriously thinking about giving it a try - esp. because I have a similar pair of shoes which I'm pretty sure I won't be wearing anymore and I'm pretty sure that I will find an old never-going-to-wear-it-again sweater in one of the closets if I look closely. The person who posted this tutorial did a fantastic job so I think you should really have a look at that site. Here is the link.

After a while ...

I know I haven't posted anything in a while. I've been a bit lazy. *blush* I had a pile of sheets and embellishments on my desk as I wanted to make myself a planner (yeah, I know it's March already). I am *almost* done now. It's just very simple, almost without embellishments, buttons etc. because I know I will be carrying it along all the time and will be using it daily and I wanted to make it as light as possible and not too thick. It's not as "cute! as it could be, but what matters most to me is that it's PRACTICAL. I would just buy one, but they didn't have any cute ones (like with cute pictures on the front page etc.), just plain green or plain black ones. Oh so boring! And besides, they were also quite expensive. And since I'm lost without a planner (I'm still not the most organized person, but at least I don't forget things if I write them in my planner), I decided to just make myself one.

Other than that, my friend's birthday is coming up and I decided to hand-make a birthday greeting card for her. I really wanted to use those stamps I bought the other day, so here's what I came out with ...
