For a baby girl

My friend is about to give a birth to a baby girl. I am expecting the happy news any time now. :) And that's why I decided to make a baby card for this week's sketch challenge at MTME blog. This week's challenge is a bit different, because you can choose from 6 different sketches. I chose this one for my card.

And here's my card.

The Piglet paper is from my stash and the pink paper is from Provo Craft. I used the image from MTME "Bringing home baby" set, which you can find here. Icolored the image with Promarkers. Flowers are from Prima and the crystals and ribbons are from my stash.

I hope you will come and play with us this week. :)

Fab and funky

Good morning everybody! How are you? Enjoying your week so far? I sure hope you do. I know I am. :) I just wish it would be a bit warmer. I mean, it's only a bit over 20 degrees Celsius in July. Brrrr ... But at the same time that's a good excuse for staying in and doing some crafting (especially considering the fact that the weather hasn't been all that great for the last couple of days either). He he.

So, if you are looking for something to do too, why not join us at this week's challenge at MMCS? This week's theme is "Fab and funky". And yes, we have a sponsor too. This week's sponsor is Whimsy stamps - they offer lots of digi and rubber stamps. They are offering the lucky winner 5 digi stamps of their choice.

Want to see what I came up with for this week's challenge?

For this card I used some pieces of paper that I've had in my drawer for a while. I don't know the company name, I'm sorry. The image is Kenny K's Download Diva. I thought this image would be perfect for this challenge. :D I colored the image with Promarkers. The flower is from Prima and the button, ribbons and pearls are from my stash.

I hope you will join the fun and play with us at this week's challenge!

I'd like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Crafts and me: Ribbons
SFC: No sentiment
I love Promarkers: Anything goes
The shabby tea room: Relax and enjoy + colours from the photo (yellow, green, pink and neutrals)
Sir Stampalot: Anything goes

Sketch time

Look at this fab sketch we have for you at My time made easy blog this week ...

Isn't it great? I like it a lot and I really enjoyed making this card. Here's what I came up with ...

Again I chose a MTME digi stamp from Bold botanicals set whichyou can find here. It is, without a doubt, my favourite MTME digi set. All the flowers are gorgeous and I simply love that butterfly. Seriously, it's a great set, a "must have" if you ask me. :) I colored the image with Faber Castell pencils. The orange paper in the background is from Sizzix' Little Sizzles set and the rest are from Provo Craft. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

I hope you will join us at this week's challenge! :)

For a teen

Hey hey! :) How are you? I'm tired - another busy day at work. But I'm home now and hopefully I'll manage to do some crafting. I want to make a few more pieces of jewelry or at least make a card or two. We'll see.

As you probably already know by now, Wednesday is the day when a new challenge begins at My mum's craft shop challenges blog. This week's theme is "For a teen". You can make a card, a bookmark, a tag ... anything really. So what are you waiting for? Grab your things and get crafting. ;) I can't wait to see what you'll make! :D Oh yeah, and we have a prize too. ;) This week we are sponsored by My mums craft shop. The lucky winner will get £10 to spend in their store.

I decided to make a corner bookmark. When I found out what this week's theme would be I knew exactly what I'll make. One of my younger friends (she's a teenager) has a birthday in the beginning of August and she LOVES reading. So she's getting this bookmark. :D The image I used for my project is from The greeting farm and I think it's just perfect for this girl. I hope she will like it.

I colored the image with Promarkers and Jolly pencils. The papers are from Provo Craft. The swirl is Marianne die and the stars were made with a craft punch. Ribbon is from my stash.

Sketch challenge at MTME blog

Another very quick post. I seem to only be doing short posts lately. I really miss blogging, but it's pretty hectic around here lately so my free time (which includes crafting and blogging) is very limited. *sigh* Well, at least I can't complain I'm bored, right? ;)

At MTME blog we have a lovely new sketch for your this week.

For my card I used Provo craft and Sizzix Little sizzles papers, some crystals and ribbon from my stash and Tim Holtz's distress inks. The butterflies are from Be dazzled set which you can find here and the flower branch image is from So fortunate set that you can find here.

I hope you'll join us at this week's challenge. :)

Swirls and pearls

Heya! This is gonna be a very short post. I just wanted to let you know about the new challenge at MMCS blog. This time we want you to use some swirls and pearls on your creations.

I used Marianne design swirl die and I used a small pearl on the mouse's hat. :) The green paper is from Sizzix' Little sizzles and the other one is from Provo Craft. I used a punch to make snowflakes. The image is a free coloring from Elizabeth O. Dulemba. The image was colored with Faber Castell and Jolly pencils. The ribbon and pearl are from my stash.

Enjoy your day! Hugs! :)

New sketch

Wow, can you believe it's Thursday already?! I've been so busy lately that I have the feeling that time is flying by so quickly. Do you already know what you're going to do this weekend? I sure do - have lots of fun. At least that's the plan. lol

Anyways, I wanted to let you know that you can join our weekly sketch challenge at MTME blog. :) Here's this week's sketch ...

And here's the card I made ...

See this gorgeous flower? I actually did 2 layers of it, but unfortunately you can't tell this from the picture. *sigh* The flower as well as this fab butterly are from the new Be dazzled set which you can find here. All images were colored with Promarkers. Papers are from Provo Craft and ribbon and crystals are from my stash. It's a bit hard to see, but I also did some emossing - I used the Floral cottage embossing folder.

Have a nice day!

Stars and stripes

Yup, there's a new challenge at MMCS blog. This week's theme is "Stars and stripes". Want to see my take on this challenge? Here it is ...

I used the adorable cupcake mouse image from Mel Jen, who is our sponsor this week. I colored the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The papers are from Sizzix's Little sizzles pack. I made the banner myself - I used some solid brown paper and patterened paper from K&Company. Flowers and crystals are from my stash. The swirl was made with Marianne design die.

I can't wait to see your take on this week's challenge. :) Hugs to all!
