Fun with dies

Hello my crafty friends! I hope everything is fine with you. It's beautiful sunny day here today. Perfect for spring. And you can also see signs of spring on my today's card.

Yes, I know this looks completely different as the cards you usually see on my blog, but I wanted to try something new and this is the result. I used two different Cottage Cutz dies for this card - Leafy foliage and Birdhouse. I first created a scene and then raised some things (e. g. birds, flowers) on foam pads to give the card some dimension.

The only embellisment I used is a red ribbon.

Well, this is it about my card. See you again soon. :)

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Mini and mega mini release at TGF

Hello my crafty friends! Some of you may have already seen news (or even sneak peeks) about the mini and mega mini releases at The Greeting Farm. Well, the waiting is over, because today those cuties hit the store.

I got to play with 2 of those sets: Mega-mini Amazing and Mini-remix Happy.

This is the card I made with the Mega-mini Amazing set.

I used most of the character stamps from this set. Aren't they cute? And just imagine all the stuff you can create with them!! Around the girls I stamped some stars, which is also one of the stamps in this set. I wrote the sentiment in Word and just printed it on a piece of white cardstock. Around the edges I drew some stitches and decorated the upper corners with golden brads.

And this is the card I made with the Mini-remix Happy set.

I used 3 different stamps from the set on this card - Anya, kitty and the sentiment. I drew the grass with my pencils and Promarkers. The flowers are teeny tiny stickers I've had in my stash for a long, long time. To decorate the card I just used a piece of ribbon, doily and some tiny pearls for the butterflies.

So much from me today. Now hop to the TGF blog and check out what my teamies made with the new sets. :)

Hugs! xx

Cheeky love

Good morning my crafty friends! How are you doing? My little girl and I got a cold (luckily just stuffy nose, nothing else) a couple of days ago, but luckily we are both feeling much better now. I blame it on the weather - one moment it's warm and sunny and almost feels like summers and the next moment is windy and cold(er) again. It's kind of tricky to get dressed properly. *sigh*

On top of that my glasses broke the other day. I was cleaning them and all of the sudden I was left with 2 pieces in my hand. Shock! I could go on without my glasses for a while, but I wanted to get things sorted out asap. So my hubby took care of the baby and I ran to the optician to get new glasses. It's never boring here. lol

As for crafting goes, the other day I made a card using one of the (fairly) recent digi images from The Greeting Farm. She's called Cheeky love and I think she's a real cutie.

I thought she looks like a real diva, so I decided to went for a more elegant and sort of mysterious look on my card. I used scraps of paper that I had in my stash and I just used some doilies, ribbon ad crystals to decorate my card.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Giotto pencils. See the stars that are stamped around the image? They are from one of the upcoming stamp sets at The Greeting Farm. That set is being released on Sunday, so you might want to check the TGF page then. Just saying ... ;)

So much for today. See you again real soon! :)

Hugs! xx

TGF release BLOG HOP

ReleaseDay
Happy Sunday everyone! It’s finally here…..RELEASE DAY for the new MAY stamps: ANYA SHOPS, PERK UP, and OA-LET'S GRILL!! We have been previewing these fabulous stamps over the last few days, and NOW they are available in The Greeting Farm Store. I decided to play with the Perk up set again. I just love it! :)

It's another CAS card. ;) I didn't use any design papers, but I finally used some washi tape that has been in my drawer for quite a while. I think this is actually the first time I used washi on any of my creations. But it's fun, so I'll definitely use some again. :) I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Giotto pencils and decorated the card with some sequins from my stash.

Be sure to leave a comment on each designer’s blog and then head back to The Greeting Farm Blog to let us know you completed the hop. You have until Wednesday, May 18th at 12pm CST to leave your comments below. We will announce the random winner later in the week! (you are here)

TGF May release - OA Let's grill

Heya! We are at the last preview day of the new releases at The Greeting Farm. I don't know about you, but I love picnics and bbq. Yum! :) And we all know spring and summer are perfect seasons for this. So, if you enjoy picnics and bbq as much as I do, you will love this set and will have to have it. :D

For me this stamp set couldn't have come at a better time. One of my friends just celebrated his 30th birthday and he loves bbq so when I saw this stamp set I knew immediately that I just have to use it to make him a birthday card with it. It was PERFECT!

I wanted to make bright, happy and positive card, so I stayed away from all those blue papers and I rather used more yellow and orange papers on my card along with some greens. As this card was for a guy I didn't want to use any flowers or other girly embellishments, so I just used some golden brads to decorate the corners.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Giotto and Faber Castell pencils.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

TGF May release - Perk up

Hello again! Welcome to the second day of previews of the newly released stamps from The Gretting Farm. The set we are showcasing today is called "Perk it up" and it's really fun to work with.

Another CAS card from me. I'm really enjoying this style at the moment. But even with CAS I couldn't resist adding quite a few layers to my card. ;)

I used some pretty papers from my stash and I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. Embossing was done with Cuttlebug's Swiss dots embossing folder.

Have a wonderful day! See you again tomorrow. :) xx

TGF May release - Anya shops

Hello my crafty friends! A very quick post from me today. We started showcasing the newly released stamps from The Greeting Farm today and the first stamp we are showcasing is called Anya shops. I really like these big Anya images and had lots of fun playing with this one. As I wanted the image to be in the center of attention I didn't use any embellishments on this card.

I stamped Anya on a piece of white cardstock and masked it so that I could stamp all around her with the stamps that also came with this set.

She is coloured with Promarkers and Giotto and Faber Castell pencils.

Have a great day. See you again tomorrow for the second day of previews. :) xx

Geometrical

Hello my crafty friends! How's it going? I'm enjoying my time with my little girl and while she sleeps I try to do a little bit of crafting. I never thought I'd enjoy being a mom so much. But this little bundle of joy gives me energy and brightens my days. :)

Anyways, I won't bore you with baby talk, because I know it's not why you are here. ;) A new challenge started at Crafty ribbons today and the theme is "Geometrical". Say "what"?! That was my reaction. I have to admit this was a huge challenge for me. I had absolutely no idea what to make. At first I thought I would just use a lot of circles on my card, but I couldn't make it work. My mind was blank. But then I thought about just using some different geometrical shapes on my card and all of the sudden things weren't looking so bad anymore. At the end I made the following card.

While it doesn't really scream "geometrical" at first look, I did use squares, rectangles, ovals and even triangles on this card.

I coloured this sweet little image a while back, but didn't get to use it til now. It's coloured with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils and I also used some Stickles on the wings. Unfortunately it's impossible to see in the picture, but I also used gloss gel on the pink flower.

To decorate this card I used different flowers from my stash, pearls, keys ribbon from Crafty ribbons and a little birdie, which I made with mod podge silicone mold. On some die cuts and those triangles I used white gel pen for the stitches.

So much from me today. I hope you won't get scared by this theme and you will come play with us! Have a wonderful day!

Hugs! xx

Swing into spring

Hey, hey! How are you doing? Enjoying the weekend? I am. :) We're slowly getting back to spring. After the snow the other day the weather seems to be getting back to normal. It's still not the right time to have picnics outside, but hopefully it soon will be.

At The Greeting Farm blog we have a bew challenge for you and this time we would like to see your spring creations. Whatever you can associate with spring will work, but don't forget to use TGF stamp on your creation.

When I think of spring I think of flowers, butterflies, green and pretty pastel colours, so with all that in mind I made the following card.

I just recently got this Mermaid Anya stamp and couldn't wait to ink it up. She's such a cutie, isn't she? For the first time ever I was brave enough to try colouring hair in anything else than brown, black or blonde. And to be honest I really like how that turned out. Hopefully from now on I'll be brave enough to do this more often.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Giotto pencils. The pearls in mermaid's hair were done with liquid pearls and on the tail I also used diamond stickles. You know me - I love me some sparkle. ;)
Papers are from my stash and so are the other embellishments. The butterflies and white flowers were made with mod podge silicone molds.

I hope you will come play with us this month. I can't wait to see what you'll make. :)

Have a great day!
Hugs! xx
